Also of note regarding the presidential transition, the General Assembly has announced a new subcommittee to monitor health care policy changes proposed by President-Elect Trump.  The panel will be an extension of the House Appropriations and Senate Finance Committees to allow those bodies to respond quickly to any Trump policies issued after the adjournment of the 2017 General Assembly session in late February.  Read more about the new panel from the Richmond Times Dispatch.
