Enroll in the members-only AHCA PDPM Academy to get the knowledge and support you need to successfully transition to the Patient Drive Payment Model (PDPM), which will replace the RUG-IV payment system beginning October 1, 2019.

About the March 13 Workshop
Join us on March 13 at the Omni Richmond Hotel to learn more about PDPM from AHCA Senior Vice President of Reimbursement Policy Mike Cheek and Judy Wilhide Brandt, RN, BA, RAC-MT, DNS-CT, CPC, QCP, principal for Wilhide Consulting, Inc.
You’ll get in-depth hands-on experiential learning by:
- Aligning buildings and companies to transition to PDPM using AHCA’s PDPM Readiness Tools© and the related core competencies
- Classifying residents in case mix groups
- Assessing market position in a PDPM environment
- Using organizational, business, and management tools to reconfigure business planning

Who Should Register for The AHCA PDPM Academy?
Understanding PDPM will be a team effort. To be successful, administrators, MDS/billing staff, nurses/DONs, and therapists must be included in the training and education process. Read more about how a Cross-Trained Team Leads to a Successful PDPM Implementation.
The PDPM Academy registration fees are designed with price breaks to enable you to bring multiple team members from the same facility or corporate office.
Registration Fees
Group pricing discounts are available for facility employees from the same facility or corporate office employees from the same corporate office if payment is received by March 6, 2019. Facilities and corporate offices must register separately and cannot be combined for group pricing.
Full pricing details:
- Registration is $350 for the first registrant from a facility/corporate office.
- Registration is $250 for each additional attendee 2-5 from the same facility/corporate office.
- Registration is $200 for each additional attendee over 6 from the same facility/corporate office.
- After March 6, 2019, the registration fee is $350 per registrant.
All team members should be registered at the same time to receive the group pricing rates and to simplify the registration process.

AHCA PDPM Academy Cancellation and Refund Policies
Cancellations for credit card payments are subject to a 10% service fee. Full refunds will be granted for cancellations if received by March 6. Cancellations and substitutions will not be accepted after the registration deadline, March 6, 2019.
