The 2021 Legislative Conference includes a great line up of speakers offering policy, legislative, and regulatory insights into the most pressing issues facing Virginia’s long term care providers. Topics include the pandemic response, the impact of the 2020 federal elections, outlook for the 2021 General Assembly session, and workforce development. Invited and confirmed speakers include: Gov. Ralph Northam, Secretary of Health and Human Resources Daniel Carey, OLC’s Kim Beazley, DSS’s Tara Davis, AHCA/NCAL’s Clif Porter, Dr. Bob Holsworth, and more.

VHCA-VCAL’s lobbying team and issue experts will brief you on legislation and state budget issues affecting operations in nursing centers and assisted living communities. This session will explain the impact of various legislation on the sector.
