Overview

This webinar will answer your questions about the CMS final rule on the SNF prospective payment system for fiscal year 2023.Presenter Judy Wilhide Brandt will explain the details about the new Medicare rates, how the parity adjustment for the Patient Driven Payment Model (PDPM) will be phased-in, and changes to both the Medicare Value-Based Purchasing (VBP) Program and the SNF Quality Reporting Program (QRP). Remember, the new rates take effect October 1.

Judy Brandt is an independent consultant who assists LTC operators nationwide with Medicare compliance, PDPM, MDS, and quality measurement. She has assisted the US government and states with legal expertise in Medicare fraud. She is a master teacher for the American Association of Post-Acute Care Nursing in two certification programs. She has written and spoken extensively for many years on quality measurement. She can break down complex topics into understandable and even enjoyable presentations. She is a former Virginia RAI Manager and Surveyor. She is a long-time friend and member of the VHCA-VCAL, serving on many committees and speaking regularly over the years.
