Overview

In partnership with Medline, VHCA-VCAL brings you Martie Moore, RN, MAOM, CPHQ to offer a comprehensive look at the tools and actions that leaders and administrators need to develop and use to decrease turnover and advance quality. You will learn action steps to use in your organization as well as steps you can take for your personal leadership competency development.

This day-long program will explore key competencies needed for tomorrow’s healthcare landscape including:

• how to use and understand systems thinking,
• how to be a resilient leader and build a resilient workforce,
• how to cultivate trust to strength teams,
• how to transform culture through the power of connecting, and
• how engagement is the key to quality.

Martie Moore, RN, MAOM, CPHQ, Chief Nursing Officer of Medline Industries, Inc. develops forward-thinking solutions and programs that support clinical outcomes and practice. She draws upon over 30 years of clinical experience and extensive executive leadership, 20 of those years as a Chief Nursing Officer.

Continuing Education | NAB Registry

This program has been approved for Continuing Education 5 total participant hours by NAB/NCERS—Approval #20191203-7-A50223-IN.

Administrators must provide VHCA-VCAL with their NAB ID when registering for events. The NAB ID will be required to allow us to submit your continuing education credits to NAB. Learn more about the NAB ID and CE Registry. Please note, the NAB ID is not the same as your Virginia administrator license number.

VHCA-VCAL Cancellation & Refund Policies

The administrator of a center has the ability to cancel without a penalty if federal or state surveyors/inspectors are in a center. Cancellations for credit card payments are subject to a 10% service fee. Refunds will be granted as follows: full refund if received by the specified registration deadline; one-half of the registration fee if cancellation received three working days prior to the scheduled event. No refunds or credits will be granted if cancellation is received after the three working days deadline. Substitutions are always welcome.
