On April 26, a day-long seminar led by dementia expert Lanny Butler will provide you with alternatives to treating and caring for individuals with dementia by changing your perception of the process of dementia and therefore changing your reality of what is possible in the months and years ahead.  Register now!

Butler will explore physical, cultural, and behavioral characteristics found in individuals with dementing disease utilizing the Global Deterioration Scale (GDS). He will equip you with tools to determine an individual’s functional abilities by stage, as well as share compensatory strategies to maintain function, explain how to better understand the cause or causes of frequent behavior problems, and identify alternatives to problem behaviors.
