• This week-long, 45 hour course offers comprehensive training in programming and documentation.
• Attendees will get advice and practical tips on how to design activities that support positive aging, build a sense of community, promote residents’ rights, and more.

The course meets the requirements of 22 VAC 40-73-1120 F 5 of the Standards for Licensed Assisted Living Facilities.

• In addition, the DSS Division of Licensing Programs has approved this course as a training program in adult group activities and in recognizing and assessing the needs of residents.
